Founder, Managing Director
Charlene Pedro is the Managing Director of Conventus Consultinc. She offers over twenty years’ experience in human resource management. She brings a distinctive blend of skills to her human resource knowledge – her strategic perspective, honed from her ten years as director of the largest employers’ organization in Trinidad and Tobago, and a strong business acumen, garnered from her role as a senior manager leading the human resource function in the business development field. Charlene has a MBA and Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, Scotland and a B.Sc. in Management with a minor in Sociology from the University of the West Indies. She also has a certificate in Mediation Skills from the William Mitchell College of Law, Minnesota, U.S.A.
At Conventus Consultinc, Charlene has responsibility for the firm’s strategic direction in addition to business development, client services, project management and administrative matters.
Social Responsibility
At Conventus we believe that we are not alone on this planet.
We also believe in paying it forward. The activities we pursue outside our work speak to the core of our being. We support the Reach Mentorship Programme which was founded by the Association of Female Executives of Trinidad and Tobago (AFETT). The overall goal of this Mentorship Programme is to ‘Create meaningful change’ in young women by enhancing recognition of self-worthiness and developing the students’ life skills.
